He is survived by: his wife Irene Athey of Alexander City; his daughters, Jennifer Athey of Middleburg, FL, Jennifer Easterwood (Jody) of Alexander City and Hallie Bass of Alexander City; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Lifson, Alaric Cox, Kaylee Easterwood and Carolina Easterwood; his sister Laura K. May (Butch) of Moline, IL; and his friend Zachary Avery of Sylacauga.
