She was predeceased by: her husbands, James Akins and Dolan Gray; and her brother Randy Milam. She is survived by: her children, Lora A. Walker (Chris) of Carrollton, GA, Tabetha Akins (Gary) of Heflin, James G. Akins (Tracy) of Alexander City, Jamie Lee Akins, Johnny Fowler (Elaine) of Jasper, GA, Kenneth Fowler of Blue Ridge, GA, Kim Fowler of Ellijay, GA and Tommy Fowler of Ellijay, GA; her siblings, Marvoline Holloway of Oxford, Vanieca Akins (Dwight) of Wedowee, Sonya Rollins (Perry) of Wedowee, Ben Milam (Sheila) of Wedowee and Tim Milam (Peggy) of Wedowee; and her parents, Cicero Puckett and Velma Milam Puckett. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Chapel (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278).
