It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Frances Mezick (Alexander City, Alabama), born in Sylacauga, Alabama, who passed away on February 9, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Ed Landers and Lilly Bell Harris Landers; her husband Otis Cleveland Mezick; her son Ken Mezick; and her siblings, James E. Landers and Joan Stroud.
She is survived by: her sons, Gene Mezick (Lynn) of Mobile and Eddie Mezick (Vicky) of Alexander City; her grandchildren, Will Mezick (Jennifer), Ben Mezick (Allison), Alden Mezick (Melanie), Hayden Mezick, Michael Mezick (Rachel), David Mezick, Miles Mezick (Linda) and Dylan Mezick; and her sister Jeanette Persons of Sylacauga. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
