He is survived by: his wife Angela M. Yates of Auburn; his children, Tammie Thompson (Walter) of Montgomery and Tim Yates (Jennifer) of Notasulga; his stepdaughter Marnie Mattei (Carmen) of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Talon Yates, Sam Moody (Blakelee) and Taylor Yates; and his siblings, Patricia Jones (Douglas), Starlene Meyers (Bruce) and Dwayne Yates of Alexander City.
