She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Thomas; her sister Evelyn Gardner Nicholson; and her brother-in-law Joel Gardner. She is survived by: her sons, Derryl Thomas (Dinah) of Alexander City, Glenn Thomas (Sheila) of Birmingham, David Thomas and Dr. Kevin Thomas (Melissa) of Tuscaloosa; her grandchildren, Chad Thomas, Amanda Frank (Sean), David Thomas (Elizabeth), Nicki Thomas, Karen Chandler (Daniel), Morgan Walters (Travis), Trent Thomas (Morgan), Michael Thomas, Katherine Thomas (Hannah) and Olivia Thomas; and her great grandchild Kyle.
