Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rose Marie Spates (Alexander City, Alabama), born in King City, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 87, on February 15, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville Maxwell and Leona Ellabeth Evans Maxwell; her husband Thomas Clare Spates; her son Michael Thomas Spates; and her sister Colina May Maxwell Cook.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Stephanie Gillan, Julie Combs, David Shawn Spates (Kim), Charlie Haynes (Heather), Lindsay Webb (Nick) and Dustin Spates (Amanda); her nephew Max Cook (Betty); and also Louise Russell. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren.
