He was predeceased by: his father Robert Wilson Clowdus. He is survived by: his wife Mary Emily Clowdus; his sons, Robert A. Clowdus and Joe Clowdus (Candi); his grandson River Clowdus; his cousin Michael Garrett of Birmingham, Alabama; his mother Bess Mulligan of Clanton; and his sisters, Cheryl Sandlin (A. L.) of Birmingham and Traci Smith (Craig) of Clanton, Alabama..
