It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Edwards of Alexander City, Alabama, born in Fort Benning, Georgia, who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Donald Edwards Sr. and Jettie Merle Caton Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Edwards; his children, Jamie Long (Michael), Lanier Edwards (LeeAnn), Ryann Woodruff (Mariana) and Brandon Woodruff (Kasey); his grandchildren, Camden McVey, Carter McVey, Chandler McVey, Grace Edwards, Allison Edwards, Paxton Edwards, Kirby Woodruff, Kora Woodruff, Isabel Woodruff and William Woodruff; his brothers, Jimbo Edwards and Mark Edwards; and also Maggie Edwards.
