He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Albert Chambers and Nona Weaver Chambers; and his son Timothy Ray Chambers. He is survived by: his wife Linda Chambers of New Site; his children, Donna McCain (Dale) of New Site, Stephen Chambers (April) of New Site and Jay Chambers of New Site; his grandchildren, Hayden Whaley (Ryan), Jax Chambers and Waverly Chambers; his great grandchild Hadley Waites; and his brother Roy Chambers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
