She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Lowery Smith Sr. and Mattie Miller Smith; and her siblings, Felix Lowery Smith Jr. and Mary Ida Smith Hester. She is survived by: her nieces, Judy Hester Ramsey and Elizabeth Smith Guntert (Paul); her nephew Felix Lowery Smith III (Rita); her goddaughter Seprenia Thomas (Maurice); her sister-in-law Mary Ann Smith; and her cousin Dr. Bill Shannon (Charlotte).
