With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Joyce Mcalister of Alexander City, Alabama, who passed away on March 4, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Darcie Spates and Goldie Blanch McDaniel Spates; her husband Pete McAlister; her son Michael Curtis McAlister; and her brothers, Darris, Walter and Thomas Spates.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Beeker; her granddaughters, Jennifer Beeker Powell Brian, Beth Jones and Megan Beeker Lewis (Justin); her great grandchildren, Caroline, Keeley Powell, Nathan, Laura Jones, Wesley and Sawyer Lewis; and her sister Winifred Suarez (Kathy Thomas).
