He is survived by: his children, Oliver Moten, III (Jackie) of Montgomery, Alphaeus Moten of Jacksonville, Gwendolyn M. Pearson and Janet A. Moten of Alexander City, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Joseph Pearson of Houston, Patrick Pearson (Tiffany) of Vidalia Georgia, Antony Moten of Jacksonville, Selena and Desmond Moten of Alexander City, Alabama.; his brother Walter Moten of Alexander City, Alabama.; and his sisters-in-law, Geraldine Freeman of Alexander City and Melvenna Maxwell of Des Moines, Iowa.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
