We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2020, at the age of 82, Nelda Ward Hayes (Alexander City, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Palmer Ward and Myrle Eunice Buzbee Ward; and her sisters, Frances Jones, Barbara Griffin-Smith and Jan Keel.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Todd Hayes of Kellyton; her children, Todd Hayes (Lynn) of Alexander City, Tracy Teel (Sammy) of Alexander City and Teresa Burns (Dale) of Alexander City; her grandchildren, Charles Todd Hayes (Jane), Al Teel (Elizabeth), Andy Burns (Kassey), Carter Hayes (Ric Miller), Austin Teel (Casey) and Kristian Dean; her great grandchildren, Rachel Hayes, Alison Hayes, Gabriel Burns, Bryce Burns, Hunter Burns, Parker Dean and James Teel; her niece Rose Benton; and her godchild Kim Moseley Galloway.
