He was predeceased by: his parents, Leggon Edward Bass and Mary Walker Bass; and his sister-in-law Faye Berry. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Vickers; his stepchildren, Eric Vickers (Jessica), Lesley Vickers (Ashlynn) and Sharon Cummings (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Hayden Vickers (Tye), Laythan Vickers and Cora Vickers; and his siblings, Judy Norrell (Manuel), Sarah Starzer (Herb), Eva Yarbrough and Howell Berry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010).
