It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Jones Gamble of Alexander City, Alabama, born in Clay, Alabama, who passed away on August 2, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Jefferson Jones and Nonnie Carolyn Alford Jones; her husband Thomas J. Gamble, Jr.; her children, Barbara Gamble Barnett and Thomas Steverson Gamble; and her siblings, Ivan Jones, Melvin Jones, Mary Alma Waldrop, Adell Brown, Alverene Waldrop and Gaynell Jones.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Staci Pemberton (John David), B. J. Barnett (Kristen), T. J. Gamble (Jill), Bradley Gamble and Buffie Jones (Bart); her great grandchildren, Madison Futral, Mary Bella Pemberton, Davis Barnett, Dawson Barnett, Will Gamble, Ava Gamble, Amelia Gamble, Jordan Bailey, Hannah Gamble, Cooper Gamble, Colton Jones, Carter Jones and Jordan Lutz (Thomas); and her great great grandchild Jones Lutz.
