She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Grady Birchfield and Bera Daughtery Birchfield; her husband Joe Kenneth Waters; and her sister Melba Dawkins. She is survived by: her children, Jo Ellen Foy (Hunter), Greg Waters (Margie) and Tammy Walker (Gary); her grandchildren, Tate Wright (Robb), Hayes Foy (Becca), Jeffrey Waters, Hayden Waters (Michelle), Ross Walker (Anna) and Cole Walker; her great grandchildren, Noah Waters, Mack Walker and Ellie Walker; her nieces, Ginger Caldwell (Dale), Jenny Kiser (Ronnie) and Kathy Dawkins; and her nephew Randy Dawkins. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010).
