He is survived by: his wife Linda Woodruff Forbus; his children, Edwin Lynn Forbus II, Nellie Leanne Day (Tony), David Landon Forbus, Kimberly Brown Lamb (Jim), Nancy Brown McGouyrk (Jimmy), Sara Brown Askew (Kyle) and Leigh Anne Caldwell (Cam); his sisters-in-law, Cheryl Braden, Tina Tapley and Donna Duncan; and his nieces, Stella Montgomery, Christina Tapley and Elizabeth Tapley. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
