She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert J. Wright and Berlie Stringfellow Wright; her husband Byron Burkhalter; and her daughter Kathy Burkhalter. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Gibson (Robert) of Rockford, Stacy Radcliffe (Sonny) of Alexander City, William "Tety" Burkhalter (Candi) of Sylacauga and James "Jay" Burkhalter (Jennifer) of Jackson's Gap. She is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren and a large extended family.
