She was predeceased by: her parents, Durell Crayton Waldrop and Katie Grimes Waldrop; her daughter Sandra Kay Weldon; and her siblings, Doreen Smith, Velma Branch, Gertie Smith, Elizabeth Simpson, Kelly Ray Waldrop, Blake Waldrop, Buel Waldrop and Oran Waldrop.
She is survived by: her husband William Lozal Cotney; her son William Loyd Cotney (Belinda); her grandchildren, Levi Cotney (Katelyn), Trey Weldon (Kelly) and Nina Cotney; her great grandchild Clayton Alexander Weldon; and her sisters, Velera Oliver, Helon Ingram (Joe) and Virginia Mask (Billy).
