She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Whaley and Anna Willis Whaley; her husband Robert Edward Colley; her daughter Clista Colley; and her siblings, J. C., Gary Whaley and Virginia Whaley Hedgepath.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Machen, Robert Colley (Donna) and Rose Price (Wayne); her grandchildren, Clista Ann Nada, Edward Lynn Colley, Leigh Ann Burnell (Jeff), Jamie Owen Machen (Anna), Drew Alen Machen (Brittany) and Justin Wayne Price (Tamie); and her brother Glenn Whaley (Janice). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
