He was predeceased by: his mother Carrie Louise Durham Autrey; his stepfather George Robert Autrey; his wife Peggy Jean Lightsinger; and his siblings, Doris Ann Lightsinger and Billy Lightsinger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sally Richter (Lee) of LaGrange, GA and Susan Selman (Breck) of Houston, TX.; his grandchildren, Luke Hurst (Tiffany), Lofton Beasley (Elizabeth), John Lee Richter (Kelsea), John Selman (Sylvia Stoker) and Hannah Selman; his great grandchildren, Analee Hurst, Brenan Hurst, Reese Beasley and Jack Beasley; and his caregivers, Kim Lewis and Leigh Phillips.
