He is survived by: his wife Martha Jean Hornsby Forbus of Alexander City; his children, Patricia Jean Pike (Charles) of Alexander City, Priscilla Dean Jones (Keith Smith) of Millbrook, Billy Wayne Forbus (Kerry) of Alexander City and John R. Forbus, Jr. (Bethany) of Hanover; and his brothers, Walter Forbus (Frances) of Montgomery and James Forbus (Marcia) of Boise, ID. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
