It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Gordon of Alexander City, Alabama, born in Clay, Alabama, who passed away on June 19, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Griffin Gordon and Adelle Pope Gordon; and his brother Harold Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Betty Gordon; his son John L. Gordon, Jr. (Lysa); his grandchildren, Griff Gordon (Kaleigh), Paige Gordon and Paxton Gordon; and his sister Barbara Shipp (Jim).
