He is survived by: his wife Gloria Hyde Dean; his sons, John F. Dean, Jr. (Edie), D. Michael Dean (Rhonda) and Christopher T. Dean (Kim); his grandchildren, Ana Peyton (Andrew), Alex Alvarez, Sarah Beth Drury (Wallace), Olivia Harnach (Tyler), Denson Dean (Jamie), Miriam Dean (Derek), Payton Moran (Joshua) and Emma Dean; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Ellis, Kennedy Drury, Rowen Drury, Laurel Moran, Coryn Dean, Arthur, Molly Drury and Becca Dean; and his sister Sarah Nell Pless. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
