He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Maxie Bell Barrett, Emma Lee Gilmer, Ocie Berry, Tom Berry, Odell Berry, James Berry and Ed Berry; his spouse Carrie Walker Berry; his daughter Marilyn Ann Benson (Lewis) of Alexander City, AL.; his grandchildren, April Michelle Benson of Birmingham, AL and Walker Benson (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, McKenzie Ann Benson and Daylen Meadows; his grandson Cedric Meadows; and his siblings-in-law, Ella Pearl Walker, Mary Bradley and Edward Walker (Gladys) of Birmingham, AL.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
