He was predeceased by: his father Rev. Lewis Alvin "L. A."; and his brother Lewis Gore. He is survived by: his wife Melver Dene Gore; his daughters, Carolyn Sears (David) of Montgomery, AL and Lori McCollum (Timothy); his grandchildren, Sarah Carol Sears of Montgomery, AL, Anna Jean Sears Maze (Jake) of Opelika, AL and Marley Nicole McCollum; his great grandchild Madison Maze of Opelika, AL; and his brother Charles Gore (Dara) of Franklin, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
