He was predeceased by: his parents, Larkus Seldon Forbus and Inez Forbus; his brother Jackie Forbus; his son-in-law Leon Heard; and his great grandchild Kasen Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Forbus; his daughter Dana Forbus Heard; his grandchildren, David Forbus (Melanie), Hunter Forbus, Caitlynn Forbus Wilkins (Luke), Heather Nicole Heard (Kenneth Smith) and Xavier Lee Heard (Anita Cruz); his great grandchildren, Avyanna, Kaisley, Kyler and Leonna Smith; and his sisters, Judy Forbus Alford (Paul) and Peggy Forbus. He is also survived by his family deeply, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010).
