He was predeceased by: his parents, Carey Judson Keel Sr. and Lurlene Dean Keel; his siblings, Carey Judson Keel Jr., Harold Dean Keel, Vera Keel Veazey, George Edward Keel, Bobby Joe Keel and Earl Wayne Keel; and his grandson Jon Hudson Sims.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Keel; his daughters, Shelley Sims (Cory) and Kelley Fuller (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Bailey Sims Williams (Joshua), Gracen Sims Carter (Daniel), Gavin Fuller and Marlie Fuller; his great grandchildren, Maren Keel Williams, Zane Daniel Carter and Callahan Joshua Williams; and his siblings, Johnny Keel Sr. Rayford "Shot" and Julia Ann "Sue" Bess (Harold).
