James Robert Burley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Burley (Alexander City, Alabama), born in Crooksville, Ohio, who passed away on January 12, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Burley and Helene Burley; his son Robert Michael Burley; and his brother Reverend William Burley. He is survived by: his wife Rachel L. Burley; his brothers, John Burley (Donna) of Trenton, OH and Dave Burley (Diane) of Anderson, SC; and his children, James "Jim" R. Burley II (Casey) of Seaford, VA, Richard "Rick" J. Burley (Melody) of Montgomery, AL and Mary "Christy" C. Pascarella (Gene) of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's memory to The Children's Harbor, Alexander City, Alabama or the Whitfield United Methodist Church in Montgomery, Al.
