It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Brown Jr. (Alexander City, Alabama), born in Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Georgia Margaret Thompson Brown. He is survived by: his children, Margaret Brown Crowder (Peggy), David Stephen Brown (Katherine) and Martha Dee Brown Eadie (Joe); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Eadie (Wit Snodgrass), Jonathan Eadie (Ashley) and Stephen Brown (Caroline); and his great grandchildren, James Rowland Snodgrass, Sadie Brown of Virginia, John Wylie Snodgrass and Grant William Brown.
