It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alvin Lewis (Alexander City, Alabama), born in Rockford, Alabama, who passed away on August 7, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin "Bill" Lewis and Sara Braden Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lewis; his son Joseph Lewis of Alexander City; his stepson Jason Motes of Pelham; his grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey Lewis, Gage and Dailynn Motes; and his siblings, Brenda Lewis of Sylacauga, Katurah Lewis of Rockford, Mark Lewis (Debra) of Lincoln, Keith Lewis of Rockford and Randall Lewis (Rebecca) of Rockford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
