He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Welcher and Sara Frances Seymour Welcher. He is survived by: his wife Allean Pitts Welcher of Coleta Valley; and his siblings, Mary Frances McDaniel (Mike) of Alexander City and Roy Welcher of Dixon. He is also survived by 13 nieces; 11 nephews.
