It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Simmons of Alexander City, Alabama, who passed away on September 18, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, R. V. Simmons and Bernice Simmons; and his children, Angie Simmons and Jason Homer Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Teresa F. Simmons; his sons, Michael C. Simmons, Scott Simmons (Brittany) and Jody Simmons; his grandchildren, Michael "Pete" Wade Simmons, Lathan Simmons, River Simmons, Ivy Kate Simmons, Eli Spraggins, Kristina Simmons and Grayson Hunter Simmons; and his great grandchild Oakley Moynihan. He is also survived by his family and friends.
