It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Lewis Norred of Alexander City, Alabama, born in Clay, Alabama, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Norred and Gertrude Cason Norred; and his sisters, Pat Norred, Dora Birdsall, Elizabeth Osborne and Betty Jean Craig.
He is survived by: his wife Betty R. Waites; his children, Nancy N. Hildebrant (Steve), Robert L. Norred and Michael A. Norred (Net); his grandson Benjamin L. Norred; and his siblings, Mary Ann Parker and John M. Norred (Helen).
