He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Jack Lackey and Georgie Lee Pitchford Lackey; and his siblings, Patsy Hall, David and Tim Lackey.
He is survived by: his sons, Ryan S. Lackey of Alexander City, Josh S. Lackey (Ashley) of Cragford and Richard Derrick Lackey (Kaci) of Alexander City; his granddaughters, Andie Lackey and Zoe Lackey; and his siblings, Deborah Mixon-Lackey, Paul Lackey and Chris Lackey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
