He was predeceased by: his parents, Mynard Pemberton and Hilda Jackson Pemberton. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Pemberton; his daughters, Denise Hunt (Brian) and Christy Pierson (Stephen); his grandchildren, Katherine Pierson, Joshua Hunt and Rachel Pierson; and his sisters, Joyce Wellborn, Carolyn Grant (Lorenzo) and Beverly DuBerry (George). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
