She was predeceased by: her parents, George Morgan Dean and Winnie Mae Trussell Dean; her husband Omer William Bowen; her daughter Sherry Bowen Jordan; her son-in-law Ronny Mann; and her siblings, Mary Edna Dean Solley (Harold), Thomas E. Dean (Mary) and George Lafayette Dean (Annie).
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Bowen Mann and Shelby J. Bowen; her granddaughters, Sarah Mann Lauten (Daniel) and Lisa Bowen Cantrell (Benji); her great grandchild Lydia C. Lauten; her stepgreat-granddaughter Victoria Giles-Lauten; her son-in-law Ronald Jordan; her nieces, LeeAnn Thrower (Steve) and Sue Bowen Smith (Hershel); her friend Linda Price Williams; her nephews, Harold Dean (Pam), Jimmy Dean and Larry Fuller; and her great-nephew Jamie Thrower. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
