He was predeceased by: his parents, Cary Judson Keel and Minni Lurleen Keel; his wife Patricia Elaine Keel; and his siblings, Cary Judson Keel Jr., George Ed Keel, Vera Mae Veazey, Harold Dean Keel and Bobby Joe Keel.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Lindsay (Bill), Michelle Keel, Steve Keel (Lori) and Andy Keel (Frida); his grandchildren, Rhiannon McCook (Daniel), Rhett King, Dalton Keel, Jud Keel and Amelia Keel; his siblings, Jimmy Keel (Martha), Johnny Keel (Judy), Rayford Keel (Brenda) and Sue Bass (Harold); his sister-in-law Charlene Keel; and his pet Diamond Cat.
