With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Baxely Gainer of Alexander City, Alabama, born in Elba, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 3, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Fowler and Lewis Stephen Baxley; and her daughter Monique (Giles). She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl; and her grandson Stephen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
