She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Sue Strickland Powell (Art Smith). She is survived by: her father James Powell of Alexander City; and her sons, Michael Smith (Laurie) of Alexander City and Robert Smith (Valerie) of Alexander City. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
