He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Udell and Mary Frances "Bet" Moore McMahan; and his former wife Patricia Hudgins McMahan. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Chalker McMahan; his sons, Kurt Moore McMahan (Dayna) and William Brannen McMahan (Bailey); his sister Elizabeth Ann McMahan; his niece Elizabeth Bouchelle Perry Knetch (Richard); his great-nephew Patrick Whittaker Knetch; and his great-niece Vivian Elizabeth Knetch.
