He is survived by: his children, Michael Hughley and Lawanada Hughley of Valdosta, GA; his siblings, Jerome Staples, Darnell Staples of Decatur, GA and Janice Staples; his aunts, Rebecca Jean Threatt and Maude Thomas of Atlanta, GA; and his uncle Roosevelt Staples. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
