He was predeceased by: his parents, T. L. Rush and Margaret Rush; and his brother Robert "Bobby" Rush. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Saunders Rush; his daughters, Dark Rush and Sylvia Anthony Harris (Dave); his granddaughters, Lillian Harris and Hillary Harris; and his sisters, Myra Leavins Stricklin and Mary Collett (J. B.).
