It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Thomas Tapley Jr. of Alexander City, Alabama, who passed away on November 8, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas Tapley, Sr. and Essie Haynie Powell Tapley. He is survived by: his wife Louise Tapley of Alexander City; his sons, Paul Strickland (Janet) of Newnan, GA, Glyn Strickland (Vickie) of Savage, MN and Joey Strickland (Michael) of Mobile; his grandchildren, Maggie Strickland, Caroline Strickland, Andrew Strickland, Joshua Strickland, Dylan Strickland and Addi Strickland; and his siblings, Carol Tapley Collins (Jim) of Alabaster and David Wayne Tapley of Soddy Daisy, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will accept flowers but prefer memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
