She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Wesley Colburn and Dorothy June Nelson Colburn; her husband Ernest Thomas; and her brother Walter Colburn. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Mitchell (John) and Amber Hayes; her grandchildren, Celeste Hayes, Reid Roberts (Derrick), Reagan Richie (Adam), Seth O'Neal, Colton Hayes, Conner Hayes, Claudia Mitchell, Claire Mitchell and Abigail Hydrick (Dylan); her great grandchildren, Tucker Roberts, Riley Roberts, Anders Richie and Atticus Richie; and her siblings, Christine Colburn Harrell (Junior), Howard Colburn (Marty) and Edward Colburn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Goodwater Baptist Church (160 S Main St, Goodwater, AL 35072).
