She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Floyd and Shirley Comer McHargue; her sisters, Teresa Carpenter and Candace Simmons; and her stepfather Sonny McHargue.
She is survived by: her husband James Harris; her daughter Meredith Hillyer; her granddaughter Breanna Hillyer; her great grandchild Mason Hillyer; her siblings, Dawn Culp, Delisa Burch, Lisa Floyd and Gordon McCarty; and her nieces and nephews, Joseph Simmons, Jason Kelley, Mindy Bradford, Jami Cureton (Colin), Kember Carpenter, Brooke Baker, Ashley Blake (James) and Mika Bradford.
