We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Barbara S Dean of Alexander City, Alabama, born in Decatur, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Burdette Smith and Ludus Opal Adams Smith; her husband Thomas Denson Dean, Jr.; and her grandson Alex Thomas Morgan Dean. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Wayne Dean of Alexander City, Cathy Suzanne Benes (Michael) of Newnan, GA, Melanie Ann Witherspoon (Tim) of Loganville, GA and Lynda Susan Rape (Tim) of Alexander City; and her sister Gloria Elizabeth Kroening of Hancock, MN.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be given to Flint Hill United Methodist Church, 2858 Flint Hill Road, Alexander City, AL 35010.
