She was predeceased by: her parents, Ade Forbus and Mattie Forbus Hunter Bice; her husband Perry Heflin Mann; her siblings, Dallas G. Forbus and Dorothy Ann Mann; and her grandson Billy Ray Tharpe, II.
She is survived by: her children, Perry Lee "Goat" Mann (Betty Tharpe) of Kellyton, AL and Melissa Jane Peppers; her grandchildren, Teresa Jane Peppers, Christopher Lee Peppers, Kenneth Wayne Peppers, Julie Vernon (Matt), Susan Golden (Jonathan), Spencer D. Foster and Jennifer Tharpe; and her great grandchild Keanu Z. Peppers. She is also survived by great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
