She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Ballew; her parents, Nettie Vaughn and Mitchel Vaughn; and her siblings, Bertha McCary, Jerry Vaughn, Charles Vaughn and Edsel Vaughn.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Brown, Jeff Ballew (Melody), Dale Ballew (Sandra) and Julia Ballew; her grandchildren, Grant Brown, Austin Brown (Brandi), Wesley Ballew (Janae), Julie Ballew, Dustin Ballew (Julie), Sawyer Ballew (Yami), Lee Ballew (Susan), Michael Ballew, Cameron Ballew (Samantha) and Chesley McCarty; and her sister-in-law Louise Hartline (Harold). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gibbs Chapel Cemetery (5122 County Road 30, Blountsville, AL 35031).
