He was predeceased by: his parents, Luise Dörr and Hans Witman. He is survived by: his siblings, Marianne Leston (Al), James Callahan (Cecile) and David Callahan; his son Col. Sean Callahan (Suk Ja Kim); and his grandsons, William and Eli Callahan. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and, nephews.
